Development Services is responsible for the effective provision of occupational and environmental health services as well as housing services to the community.

- GBV related services and support, including Dahlia Centre.

The De Vlei Amphitheatre – Darling
The De Vlei Amphitheatre in Darling is available for hire for cultural concerts and performance events that promote arts and culture.
- The amphitheatre can accommodate up to 1,000 people (maximum).
- It is available for music, dance, culture, choir, and other performing arts.
- Applications are subject to the terms and conditions as set out in the approved framework for use of the amphitheatre.
- Bookings must be made at least 21 days before the planned date and are subject to availability and payment of the required deposit.
- The amphitheatre is only available for events that are free to the public – i.e., organisers may not charge entrance fees for performances
- All events are subject to municipal approval, as well as compliance with relevant legislation and municipal by-laws.
- The facility will not be rented out for church services.
- The facility is available for use during the day until 22:00 on weekdays and until 23:00 on weekends.
- Payment of the deposit must be made at the Darling Cashier.
