Swartland Municipality, with its head office in Malmesbury, services the towns of Malmesbury, Yzerfontein, Moorreesburg, Darling, Koringberg, Abbotsdale, Kalbaskraal, Chatsworth, Riverlands, Riebeek West and Riebeek Kasteel.

The Municipality currently offers the following vacancies to suitably qualified and equipped persons:


Department of the Director: Protection Services

Traffic Warden (Swartland Area)
Reference number: V1/18
Salary Scale: R120.00 per day - One year contract

Requirements
To be considered for this position you must be in possession of all the requirements below:

  • Grade 12
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills in at least two of the official languages of the Western Cape
  • Good physical health
  • The successful completion of a Law Enforcement Course and accompanying examination
  • Willingness to work shifts
  • Reside within the Swartland Area (Malmesbury, Darling, Moorreesburg, Riebeek West, Riebeek Kasteel, Yzerfontein, Koringberg, Abbotsdale, Chatsworth, Kalbaskraal and Riverlands)
  • Shortlisted candidates will be subjected to fitness tests

Recommendation

  • Code B driver’s license

Note

  • It will be expected of successful candidates to wear the recommended uniform
  • Unemployed candidates will enjoy preference
  • The appointment will be subject to successful police clearance (no criminal record)

Commencement of duties: As soon as possible.
