Swartland Municipality, with its head office in Malmesbury, services the towns of Malmesbury, Yzerfontein, Moorreesburg, Darling, Koringberg, Abbotsdale, Kalbaskraal, Chatsworth, Riverlands, Riebeek West and Riebeek Kasteel.

To be considered for this position you must be in possession of all the requirements below:
  • Grade 12
  • Traffic Diploma
  • Registered with the Western Cape Provincial Government
  • Valid code EB driving license
  • No criminal record (will be verified)
  • Law Enforcement Certificate
  • Good communication skills; Conflict handling; interpersonal skills; Using of a firearm
  • Proficient in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape
  • Three (3) years relevant experience

To be considered for this position you must be in possession of all the requirements below:
  • N2 plus completed recognized trade test (Construction Electrician)
  • Heavy vehicle Code C1 license
  • Language skills to understand, interpret and issue instructions.
  • Practical skills to use, operate, assemble and manipulate tools, equipment and electrical instruments.
  • Supervisory skills.
  • Skills to work safely in close proximity of live electricity without supervision.
  • 1 year (after trade test)

To be considered for this position you must be in possession of all the requirements below:
  • Tertiary Accountancy or Financial qualification that must include subjects such as Financial Accountancy, Cost Accounting or Management Accounting (including N6 with 18 months practical)
  • Computer literate in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Powerpoint, Outlook
  • Knowledge of the MFMA will be advantageous
  • Fluent in at least two of the three official languages prevalent in the Western Cape Presentation skills
  • Applicants will be subjected to an accountancy and excel assessment
