Swartland Municipality, with its head office in Malmesbury, services the towns of Malmesbury, Yzerfontein, Moorreesburg, Darling, Koringberg, Abbotsdale, Kalbaskraal, Chatsworth, Riverlands, Riebeek West and Riebeek Kasteel.

Requirements

To be considered for this position you must be in possession of all the requirements below:

  • Bachelor degree in finance or equivalent (NQF level 7) with Financial Accounting as main subject or 3 year National Diploma with Accounting
  • Municipal Minimum Competency Certificate
  • Strong numerical and accounting skills
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Excel & Outlook)
  • Accuracy and ability to give attention to detail
  • Good communication and Interpersonal skills
  • Code B driver’s license
  • 7-8 years relevant management experience

 

Salary Scale: R393 732 - R511 044 (T14)

 

  

Internship: Financial Management

(Malmesbury)

Requirements

Reference number: V20/19

To be considered for this position you must be in possession of all the requirements below:

  • Tertiary Accountancy or Financial qualification that must include subjects such as Financial Accountancy, Cost Accounting or Management Accounting (including N6 with 18 months practical)
  • Computer literacy in MS Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Knowledge of the MFMA will be advantageous
  • Applicants will be subjected to an accountancy and excel assessment

Salary Scale: R100 000 p.a (All inclusive)
